Gender equality in Federal studies and statistics
In Federal studies and statistics, the federal offices must analyse gender effects and gender-specific differences and integrate these into the publications. In its guidelines of 31 January 2024, the Federal Council defined the procedure and requirements for the consideration of gender in Federal studies and statistics.
The Federal Council's guidelines regulate the consideration of gender in Federal studies and statistics. The aim is to improve knowledge and understanding of gender-specific effects and to improve the collection and processing of statistical data by gender. The Federal Office for Gender Equality (FOGE) provides a tool and guiding questions to support administrative units in reviewing the relevance of including gender in their studies and statistics.
