Tackling the gender pay gap with digital solutions

This webinar will show how employers, whether private or public, can concretely check that they respect the principle of equal pay for work of equal value between women and men. It will do so by demonstrating the use of Logib, a webtool developed by Switzerland and recently labeled as good practice by EPIC. Registration below.

19th August 2020 / 13:30 – 14:45 CEST / 7:30 – 8:45 EST / 12:30 – 13:45 BST

Experience shows that equal pay analyses are an important tool in promoting equal pay. According to a Swiss survey, half of all employers that have conducted an analysis using Logib subsequently adapted their wages to ensure pay equality for their employees.

As all countries and companies try to cope with the economic impact of the global crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it is more important than ever that employers recognize the added value of pay equity between women and men.

Logib invites employers to analyze their wage systems with respect to pay equity between women and men. This simple and practical tool has been made available free of charge worldwide so that employers can continue to meet their commitment to equal pay, ensuring a sustainable and effective recognition of the essential role women play in the world of work. The webtool can quickly provide precise information on the average salary and average bonuses of women compared to those of men. It also indicates the number of women in the different wage quartiles of a company and generates easy-to-read and ready-to-use reports. Statements from human resources managers and comments by experts will show how such a tool can be concretely used to reduce the gender pay gap within a given enterprise.

Prior to and during the webinar, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and provide feedback to the speakers. The webinar will be conducted in English.
